Do you also get that feeling? Wanting to pick up a book so bad, but not being able to? Well, that’s the situation I’ve been in recently. I’m reading three books for school and I’ve started one just for fun. It’s not exactly smart to be picking up another book as I’m already stressed out. Still, I’ve been itching so bad to re-read these books. I’m hoping I can get to them soon. Continue reading
Today I want to write about the books I’ve re-read the most. I’m one of those people who loves to re-read their favourites and discover new things about them. So without further ado, let’s talk about the ones I’ve re-read the most!
I read this book for the first time this summer and I fell in love with it. It’s now one of my favourites. After re-reading it about two weeks ago, I decided it’s time for me to review it!
Victor Benucci and Madeline Falco have a story to tell.
It begins with the death of Vic’s father.
It ends with the murder of Mad’s uncle.
The Hackensack Police Department would very much like to hear it.
But in order to tell their story, Vic and Mad must focus on all the chapters in between.
This is a story about:
1. A coded mission to scatter ashes across New Jersey.
2. The momentous nature of the Palisades in winter.
3. One dormant submarine.
4. Two songs about flowers.
5. Being cool in the traditional sense.
6. Sunsets & ice cream & orchards & graveyards.
7. Simultaneous extreme opposites.
8. A narrow escape from a war-torn country.
9. A story collector.
10. How to listen to someone who does not talk.
11. Falling in love with a painting.
12. Falling in love with a song.
13. Falling in love.
Through participating in the Cramathon I finished three books and started a fourth. I see this as a success even though I only completed one of the challenges. The readathon pushed me to read instead of wasting my time on Twitter and I’m really happy it did.
This post was very hard to write! I’ve had such a good reading year, reading the most amazing books every month. Needless to say, choosing which books to put on this list was very hard! Continue reading
I had a wonderful December this year. My exams didn’t make me as stressed as they usually do. I celebrated the holidays with my family. I enjoyed my time off school. I hung out with friends. I relaxed and I did the projects I’ve been putting off for quite a while! As far as reading goes, I had a pretty good month as well! Continue reading
