Hey! How are you doing? I hope you’re good. Today I wanted to share my TBR for the upcoming year with you. It’s a bit late, as I really took my time to decide what to put on it. I’m confident I chose the right books! Continue reading
It’s time for what might be the most important blog post of the entire year: my favourite books! I read a total of 80 books this year, and as always it was difficult to pick and rank (!) my top 10. I’m confident I made the right choices though! To give you an idea of which books I picked from, you can find my 2018 overview here. Are you ready? Let’s do this! Continue reading
Hey everyone! Today I’m coming at you with a non-spoiler review of Not Your Sidekick by C.B. Lee. I read it recently and highly enjoyed it!
Welcome to Andover… where superpowers are common, but internships are complicated. Just ask high school nobody, Jessica Tran. Despite her heroic lineage, Jess is resigned to a life without superpowers and is merely looking to beef-up her college applications when she stumbles upon the perfect (paid!) internship—only it turns out to be for the town’s most heinous supervillain. On the upside, she gets to work with her longtime secret crush, Abby, who Jess thinks may have a secret of her own. Then there’s the budding attraction to her fellow intern, the mysterious “M,” who never seems to be in the same place as Abby. But what starts as a fun way to spite her superhero parents takes a sudden and dangerous turn when she uncovers a plot larger than heroes and villains altogether.

There are still so many perspectives and identities that I haven’t read about. This list is definitely not finished as I’ll want to add more books in the future. I can always make a part 2, right? If you have any good recommendations of your own, let me know! Let’s get into mine!
