A tiny book haul

Today I wanted to show you the books I added to my collection in the last six months. It’s a relatively small haul with only three books. I’m really excited to show you them!

What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
Goodreadsmy thoughts

I got the book for Christmas and I was really excited about it! I have enjoyed books from both Albertalli and Silvera and was excited to see their collaboration. Also, the spine was perfect for the yellow section of my bookshelves! I have since read it, back in January I believe, and I’m sad to report it was quite disappointing. I simply didn’t root for the characters. In the end, I gave it 2 out of 5 stars.

Circe by Madeline Miller
Goodreadsmy thoughts

I read a library copy of this book and I absolutely loved it, gave it five out of five stars. I loved Circe’s character and how morally grey she was. Because of that, I really wanted my own copy. So, I bought it 🙂 I chose this cover because I think it’s stunning, especially the naked hardback. I love the shiny bronze. In the picture, you can even see some of the shine it creates when held in sunlight.

Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan

Thirdly, I added Girls of Paper and Fire to my collection. I’ve heard amazing things about it! The premise sounds really interesting and I was sold when I heard it had a sapphic relationship. I’m really excited to read this and see what I think. I’m a bit scared, because it’s high fantasy, but I think I’ll love it!

Have you read this? Did you love it?

That’s all for this book haul. I hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!
