April Bullet Journal Set-up // happy yellow

It’s almost April, so it’s time to share my monthly bullet journal set-up with you! I’m really excited about this one. I chose ‘happy yellow’ as my theme and I love how it turned out! It makes me happy to look at it.

For this month’s cover page, I copied a flower drawing that I found here. I added a yellow rectangle to add a pop of colour and wrote April underneath. I love how this turned out!
On the right side I created my monthly calendar. It has a simple vertical lay-out.

Following, there’s my reading and blogging spreads. They’re structured the same way as every other month. I decided to use pictures to decorate the page. I found them here and here.

Furthermore, there’s my traditional memories spread. It looks blank now, but I’ll fill it up at the end of the month. The flower doodle I found here.

My ‘two lines a day’ serves as a kind of journaling spread. I love chronicling my memories! I added yet another picture. It’s a lot more vibrant in real life.

Next up, I have my sleep log and habit tracker. For the sleep log, the first graph is for the times I’m sleeping and the second is for the amount of hours. The yellow line represents the 8 hour mark. The z’s on the far left stand for ‘zaterdag’ en ‘zondag’, the Dutch words for Saturday and Sunday.
As for my habit tracker, I prefer to have separate calendars for each habit, so I can identify patterns. The page is decorated with this picture.

The left spread is my gratitude log. The flowers I cut out from this picture. Love how it turned out!
Last, but not least, I have a challenge page. In April I’m going to do the 100 ab challenge again. I really liked it in January and I’m excited to try it again. The hot air balloons on this spread were inspired by Amanda Rach Lee. I’ll colour them in as I go through the month. I’m not 100% in love with how it turned out. You win some, you lose some, right?

Did you like this theme? Do you have a bullet journal? What’s your theme this month? Would you try a happy yellow theme?

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for dropping by! See you next time!

Love,

  1. I absolutely love this! April will be my first month bullet journaling (most of my friends use theirs as planners and I really didn’t want to, and that’s why I kept putting it off for so long) so I’m still trying to figure out what I wanna do. So far I have a bookshelf for the books read in 2019, my book wishlist, a list (still blank) of the Disney movies I wanna watch or re-watch, and then monthly spreads. For April, I’m writing down my (small) goals, my TBR, my blog stats and my habit trackers, so I can see where I’m lacking. I really liked the gratitude log (how do you keep up with it? one per day?) and the challenge (where do you usually find inspiration for those?). Sorry if I’m annoying you 😛
