A to Z book tag! // rapid fire

It’s tag time! Today I chose the A to Z tag. It seems really fun! It was originally created by The Perpetual Page Turner. I’m going to do this rapid fire style. Let’s get straight into it!

Author you’ve read the most books from

That would be Rick Riordan with a total of 15 books.

29236299Best Sequel Ever

The first sequel that comes to mind is Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I loved that book!

Currently Reading

Woesten by Kris Van Steenberghe. Finally…

Drink of Choice While Reading

Definitely tea!

E-reader or Physical Book?

Physical books for sure, but I have warmed up to e-readers. They’re quite handy.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School

I’m still in high school and no one comes to mind. Oops!

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance

The Japanese Lover by Isabel Allende. It’s so good!

22466429Hidden Gem Book

Kids of Appetite by David Arnold. Go read this!!!!

Important Moment in your Reading Life

The Hunger Games introduced me to YA and got me out of a big reading slump. It was a turning point in my reading journey.

Just Finished

Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer. I enjoyed it 🙂

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read

Erotica, I’d say.

Longest Book You’ve Read

I think that would be a bind-up of the Chronicles of Narnia at 1284 pages.

32620332Major book hangover because of:

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid!

Number of Bookcases You Own

2

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Preferred Place To Read

my bed!

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book

“We are all part of the same story, each of us different chapters. We may not have the power to choose setting or plot, but we can choose what kind of character we want to be. ”

– David Arnold, Kids of Appetite

Reading Regret

The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger. I hated that book.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series)

I don’t read very many series anymore and I can’t think of one I really want to continue. Maybe Warcross by Marie Lu?

20820994Three of your All-Time Favorite Books

  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
  • I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson

Go read these!

Unapologetic Fangirl For

Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others

What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera, the only release I’m truly excited for.

Worst Bookish Habit

I often read the very last sentence of a book before I even start. I only spoiled myself once this way, in Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. (If you’ve read it, you know what I mean.)

31351689

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book

A bind-up of The Illiad and The Odyssey by Homer. I have only read the latter.

Your latest book purchase

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by taylor Jenkins Reid. I had to have my own copy!

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):

Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Herring Blake, a truly amazing book that I would most highly recommend!

I Tag:

  1. Oh thank you for the tag. I think I did this a while ago on my blog but I’d love to do it again! I also love The Little Prince, or Le Petit Prince as I prefer to read the original French edition. I think if I read the English edition it wouldn’t feel right for me and the magic of the book would be lost in translation.

    • You’re welcome! I didn’t realise you had already done it, but I’m happy you’d love to do it again 🙂. I agree that The Little Prince is a lot better in French! I’ve read it in 4 languages now and a lot of the magic is indeed lost sadly. Great to hear you love the book too, though 😃

      • It turns out I did this February of last year so you don’t need to apologise for not realising. I doubt many people go that far back on my blog anyway when reading posts!
