I’ve been having a lot of fun lately making aesthetics, so I thought I’d go ahead and post some more. I hope you enjoy these! Continue reading

My Diverse 2018 TBR
Just like last year, I’m setting myself a TBR. This isn’t a very strict one, it’s more a guideline to which books I’d like to pick up. Anyway, this year I focused on diverse books and picked ones that have a different perspective than mine. I’ve also been a bit more realistic and chose books I have access to. So without further ado, let’s get into it! Continue reading
Henry Denton aesthetic // We are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson
Yesterday I was playing around with some photos I found on WeHeartIt and I ended up making an aesthetic for Henry Denton, the main character from We are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson! Continue reading
The 2017 posts I’m most proud of!
Today I’m making a rather unusual blog post. I want to talk about the posts I’m most proud of, those I put most work into, were the most inventive, etc. I think it’s good to sometimes show that you’re proud of what you’ve achieved and that’s what I’m doing in this post. Plus, it will make it easier for you to find the best posts on my blog! Continue reading
Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada // Travel
Today I’m writing a post I should have written quite some time ago. I just never seemed to get around to it. Anyway, I went to Spain from the 29th of October to the 4th of November and that’s what I’m going to talk about in this post!
Thank you!!
Today I’m writing a post to thank every last one of my followers. I reached 500 followers and I can’t believe it! 500 people value my blog and what I do here enough to keep coming back and that just amazes me! So thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you to everyone who reads, likes, comments, follows, shares,… I most highly appreciate it!
Love,
Eva
Kids of Appetite by David Arnold // a work of art
I read this book for the first time this summer and I fell in love with it. It’s now one of my favourites. After re-reading it about two weeks ago, I decided it’s time for me to review it!
Goodreads blurb:
Victor Benucci and Madeline Falco have a story to tell.
It begins with the death of Vic’s father.
It ends with the murder of Mad’s uncle.
The Hackensack Police Department would very much like to hear it.
But in order to tell their story, Vic and Mad must focus on all the chapters in between.
This is a story about:
1. A coded mission to scatter ashes across New Jersey.
2. The momentous nature of the Palisades in winter.
3. One dormant submarine.
4. Two songs about flowers.
5. Being cool in the traditional sense.
6. Sunsets & ice cream & orchards & graveyards.
7. Simultaneous extreme opposites.
8. A narrow escape from a war-torn country.
9. A story collector.
10. How to listen to someone who does not talk.
11. Falling in love with a painting.
12. Falling in love with a song.
13. Falling in love.
My reading year 2017 // an overview, stats, opinions and more!
2017 was an awesome reading year for me. I slowly made my way (and still am) through the best YA books from the past years. Seriously, through finding the book community it is as if a whole new world of books opened for me. The book community itself was amazing too this year. I feel so welcome here! It’s been fantastic connecting with people all over the world!
Anyway, in this post I’m going to give you an overview of everything I read in the past year, my stats and what I thought of those books! Continue reading
Cramathon 2017 Wrap-up
Through participating in the Cramathon I finished three books and started a fourth. I see this as a success even though I only completed one of the challenges. The readathon pushed me to read instead of wasting my time on Twitter and I’m really happy it did.
