The Narnia tag

I was tagged by the lovely Nadwa from Painfully Fictional and I decided to write it today. You should definitely go check out Nadwa’s blog! She posts amazing content and has such beautiful graphics! She’s super nice! The tag was originally created by Clémence @ Clémi’s Bookish World.

I read all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia in April last year. It was one big bind-up and I did enjoy them. I think I read them in chronological order, but I’m not sure.

NARNIA – A magical world you would like to visit?

I have to agree with Nadwa on this one. I’d love to go to Velaris. Also Hogwarts and Camp half-Blood.

22466429THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW – A book you think is underrated?

Kids of Appetite by David Arnold. This is one of my favourite books and I never hear anyone talking about it. It’s so underrated!

THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE – A classic that you love?

I barely ever read classics, but one that I’ve read countless times and that I really love is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I grew up reading this book and I have good memories of it!

23395680THE HORSE AND HIS BOY – A book you picked up without knowing what it was about?

I actually picked up my most recent read, Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman, up without knowing what it was about. I only knew it was told in files, but I had no idea what the story was actually about.

PRINCE CASPIAN – A sequel that you loved?

That would be A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. I loved that book. It’s such an improvement over A Court of Thorns and Roses.

THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER – A quest you’d like to be a part of?

Even though it would be incredibly dangerous, I’d love to be a part of the main quest in the Heroes of Olympus series, the one to Rome and Athens. But then again, is there a quest that isn’t dangerous?

THE SILVER CHAIR – A book you didn’t expect to love?

I have to go with a book that I’ve already mentioned. I really didn’t expect to love Kids of Appetite as much as I did!

THE LAST BATTLE – A perfect ending to a series you love?

THE PEVENSIES – A siblinghood of friendship you’d love to be a part of?

I’d love to be of a part of the Seven from the Heroes of Olympus series or the Rampion Crew from the Lunar Chronicles. Both groups are just absolutely amazing.

EUSTACE SCRUBB – A character who grew on you?

Jacin from Winter by Marissa Meyer. At first, I didn’t really like him, but now I do.

TUMNUS – Your favourite mystical creature?

I don’t know. Maybe Fae or a Phoenix?

REEPICHEEP: a loyal character

Scarlet from The Lunar Chronicles. She is so loyal to her grand-mère. I love their relationship.

THE WARDROBE – Your favourite hideout/place to read?

My bed!

  1. I did the same thing with Illuminae. I picked it up because of all the good reviews that I saw and didn’t really know anything going in.
ACOMAF is a GREAT sequel! It really challenged everything we thought we knew about the first book and introduced so many new favorites!
