I was tagged Mandy over at Book Princess Reviews to do the Disney princess sidekicks book tag. She’s the Original creator and her blog is absolutely amazing! She writes great posts and she’s such a nice girl! Definitely go check her out! I’m most excited to do this, so thanks, Mandy, for tagging me.
Mushu from Mulan / Olaf + Sven from Frozen
The Comic Relief – Name your favorite hilarious character or your favorite comedy/funny book
Any book by Rick Riordan makes me laugh out loud. They’re so hilarious, especially Leo Valdez, Percy Jackson and Magnus Chase.
The Seven Dwarfs from Snow White
Favorite Group/Ensemble
Although I must agree with Mandy that the Six of Crows gang is amazing, I’ll have to go with another answer and that is the Rampion crew from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. They’re so dynamic, sweet, funny, protective of each other and straight up fantastic.
Pascal from Tangled
The loyal cheerleader chameleon (not a frog, Flynn Rider) – Name a book that started out one way but changed for you
I didn’t like the first half of the Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. I found it boring and disappointing. That changed though. The second half of the book hooked me to the series. The Raven Cycle is now a series I love and I’m so glad I powered through that first half of the first book.
Meeko from Pocahontas
Pocahontas’s sly and sneaky raccoon friend – Name a plot twist that you did not see coming
I have to agree with Mandy on this one and say Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. This book had a few plot twists that blew me away as I did not see them coming AT ALL.
Rajah from Aladdin / Flounder from The Little Mermaid
Gentle with their princess but protective with everyone else – Name your favorite best friend in a novel
I’ll go with a classic answer here and say Hermoine from the Harry Potter series. I feel like we would definitely get along. She’s also very similar to my real life best friend, so there’s that.
Louis from The Princess and the Frog / Sebastian from The Little Mermaid / Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, & Chip from Beauty and the Beast
The Musical Bunch – Name a novel where music played a big part or made you want to sing its praises
I’ll go with my most recent favourite book, Kids of Appetite by David Arnold. This book is amazing, a true work of art. I want to sing its praises :). Music doesn’t play a huge role in the book, but there are a few songs that are mentioned often.
Maximus from Tangled
The obstacle in Flynn Rider’s way – Name a character that faces a lot of obstacles
Um, every character ever. But seriously, I’ll say Katniss from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. She goes through a lot and faces a lot of obstacles. I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes.
Hamish, Hubert, & Harris from Brave
Favorite family dynamics in a novel
I can’t not say The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas for this question. The family dynamics in this book are just so so so amazing.
Ray from The Princess and the Frog / 3 Fairies from Sleeping Beauty
The Advice Givers – Book that most impacted your life
This question could have multiple answers, but I’ll go with The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This series introduced me to YA which in its turn introduced me to book blogging and the book community. I’m most thankful for it and to this day, it remains on of my favourite books.
Hei Hei from Moana
Name a character that steals the show
Captain Carswell Thorne from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and he does it on purpose. He’s kind of a drama queen and he has a great sense of humour. Both of those things lead him to be often be in the middle of the attention.
Gus & Jaq from Cinderella
Opposites Attract – Name your favorite or worst opposite attracts pairing
Matthias and Nina from Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. They’re so fantastic together even though they are polar opposites in so many ways. *swoons*

I liked your answers. I agree about the family dynamics in the Hate U Give. I haven’t read many (if any?) books where the family members are (almost) as important as the main character. And I loved all her family members: her parents, her siblings, her uncle,…

You’re welcome 😃 I haven’t read many either. That’s rather sad isn’t it?

Thanks so much for the tag Eva. 🙂 I really can’t wait to take part in this one because I am a massive fan of Disney movies, and some of the side characters the questions are based on are my favourite characters.
I agree with so many of your answers as well; the Rampion crew from the Lunar Chronicles are my favourite group, and oh the family dynamic in The Hate U Give was incredible to read as well.
Great picks, and thanks again for the tag! 😀

Thanks so much for tagging me! I saw this when Mandy posted it and thought it looked so cute so I’ll be happy to do it! I have to agree with you that THUG has great family dynamics. Probably the best in a book I’ve read in quite awhile!

Omigosh, Nina and Matthias are brilliant for opposites attract. They are so not similar, but oh so brilliant together. ❤ The Hate U Give really does have one of the best families I've ever seen in YA. And that's so cool that The Hunger Games helped you get into the book blogging world. Such a fun story behind a great book. Your answers were so much fun and cool to read, Eva. ❤ Thanks so much for doing the tag again, and wonderful job!
