As you may know from my post last Sunday, it was my birthday! I’m now fifteen years old. As a book blogger and booklover naturally I asked for books / money to buy books. Today I have five books in total to show you!
Simon VS The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
This book is one of my all time favourites! It is so romantic, funny and exciting! It touches subjects like diversity in a very good way and contains amazing quotes like this one:
βWhy is straight the default? Everyone should have to declare one way or another, and it shouldn’t be this big awkward thing whether you’re straight, gay, bi, or whatever. I’m just saying.β
β Becky Albertalli
The first time I read this book I wrote a review for it. I’m currently re-reading it and I’m enjoying every second!
Although this is one of my favourite books ever, I never owned a copy of it myself. My two best friends got me one for my birthday, together with the next book! I was so happy when I saw them! M & P, I know you guys read my blog, so again thank you!!
The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
This is the other book my best friends got me. I was so so so excited when I saw it! I’ve been wanting to read more by Becky Albertalli since I first read Simon VS and this book sounds amazing! It is so wonderfully diverse and all the reviews I’ve seen have been glowing ones. I can’t wait to pick this one up!
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (ACOTAR #1)
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas ( ACOTAR #2)
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas ( ACOTAR #3)
Goodreads – Goodreads – Goodreads
I’m really excited for this book series! I’m really intrigued by the synopsis, it really seems like something I’d like. Plus, everyone seems to love this series! Especially the second book, ACOMAF. So when I took some of the money I got as a gift to pick up some books at the bookstore, it wasn’t a big surprise when I left with this series. Normally I only buy the first book in a series so that it isn’t that big of a deal when I don’t like it, but this time I picked al three of them up at the same time. I’m confident I’ll like them and they were the last three copies they had.
And that’s all there is for today! I still have some money and I gift card left I’m planning to spend on more books, but I’ll save them for later. I hope you enjoyed this post. See you next time!
Love,
Awesome haul! I hope you enjoy reading them!
